Did ya read that blurb about Best I Ever Had? Where I had that life-altering adventure with some buddies?
Well, I scared some mates and my ma shitless when I went off the grid for a week without a phone. This song is about that. I think we even went so far as to convince a group of students that we'd been abducted somehow? No high without a low I spose.

the song follows their feelings not mine, as I learned to understand why why some mates were worried that I'd left without a trace. It's weird when you realise you have space in peoples lives and you cannot move separate from that.
